Nyapu has created portrait replacers for a wide range of Stardew Valley mods. For many characters not covered by Nyapu, other artists have made portraits in a similar style. Many of these portrait mods are available as separate downloads and can be found by searching "Nyapu" on Nexus Mods.

Some mods also include Nyapu-style portraits directly, either using Nyapu’s original work or portraits inspired by their style. This is convenient for players, though it can make these mods harder to find through standard searches. To help, this page provides a comprehensive list of all known Content Patcher mods with built-in Nyapu-style portraits.

Mods with Nyapu-Made Portraits

The following mods are those that natively provide portraits created by Nyapu.

Alecto the Witch

Creator: Zoedoll.
Overview:
Adds Alecto, Rasmodius's ex-wife. She's a grumpy, wine-loving, slightly cursed witch with a sharp tongue, soft heart, and two intelligent crows.

Always Raining in the Valley

Creator: Himetarts.
Overview:
Adds Sterling, Mia, and Henry: a family living in Sunberry Village. Features over 1,000 lines of dialogue, 20+ heart events, 16 mini-dates, 60+ outfits, letters, and locational messages. The story explores themes of healing, addiction, self-acceptance, and personal growth.

Creative Differences

Creator: TheFrenchDodo.
Overview:
Adds Rodney O'Brien, a sharp-tongued but affable writer (and Elliott's uncle), as a resident of East Scarp. Features 17 heart events, a custom item, and extensive dynamic dialogue, including reactions to every movie and commentary on both vanilla and modded events. Rodney is quick to judge but quicker to warm up. And most importantly: he wears pink on Wednesdays.

East Scarp

Creator: Lemurkat.
Overview:
Adds the bustling community of East Scarp, a seaside suburb adjacent to Pelican Town, featuring a large cast of characters including Eloise, Jacob, Aideen, and many more. The mod includes over 100 character events, new Special Orders, and expands the world with areas like the Deep Mountains and Lore's Cove. The expansion is also home to additional NPCs by other authors, allowing for a modular experience.

The Farmer's Children

Overview:
Gives your two in-game children unique personalities and schedules as they grow into school-aged kids. They attend school with Jas and Vincent, explore Pelican Town, and develop individual interests.

Jorts and Jean the Helper Cats

Creator: tiakall.
Overview:
Adds Jorts and Jean, the iconic cats of internet fame. These talking cats are giftable, friendable, and come with custom dialogue, two unique events inspired by the original AITA Reddit post, and references to the @JortsTheCat Twitter account.

Leilani

Creator: Zoedoll.
Overview:
Adds Leilani, the wife of Pika and mother of Keahi from Ridgeside Village. Leilani lives and works on Ember Island in the Fern Islands archipelago but returns to the valley every summer to spend time with her family.

Lurking in the Dark

Creator: 7thAxis.
Overview:
Adds Sen, a curious shadow person from the mines. Guided by Krobus and now living beneath the East Scarp inn, Sen explores the surface world in handmade disguises, eager to understand human life. Features dynamic randomized dialogue, a secret forage spawn, and a heartwarming friendship arc with the farmer.

Romanceable Rasmodia

Reimagines Rasmodius the Wizard as Rasmodia, a young-looking Witch.

Stardew Aquarium

Creator: Project Stardew Aquarium.
Overview:
Adds an aquarium accessible from the train station, where you can donate fish to complete exhibits and earn rewards. Sword and Sorcery

They Deserve It Too - Portraits for Vendors

Adds character portraits to every vendor in vanilla game who previously lacked one. It also introduces new shop dialogue and configurable shop attendant rotation for added immersion and variety.

Ecosystem Superpack Expansion

An overhaul and bugfix of FIASA, Ranger Taro, and the Canyonlands, packed into one big expansion. Friendable Mr.Qi

Overview:
Adds so much new content for Mr.Qi that it's practically a full expansion. Also comes with an optional, combat-focused endgame area called the Arena.

Give the Mermaid Her Pendant Back!

Enter Gustavo: better, meaner twin of Gus with a taco truck he parks in Cindersap Forest.

Hat Mouse Lacey

Makes the hat mouse a real character with a name and personality. She attends festivals, is eligible for marriage, and has plenty of dialogue, including commentary about the hats you wear when speaking to her.

Jinu in the Casino

Overview:
Replaces the "Statue of Endless Fortune" vendor in Qi's Club with Jinu from KPop Demon Hunters. Jinu retains the original merchant's function but has additional dialogue lines, ranging from lighthearted to slightly venting.

A Moth's Inner Compass

Gives Rodney O'Brien (from Creative Differences) his nephew Elliott's flowing hair while optionally leaving Elliott bald. Comprehensively alters everything from dialogue to cardboard cutouts. Creative Differences is not required: this mod can be used just to make Elliott bald.

Seasonal Outfits - SCA Style for Rasmodia

Overview:
Gives Rasmodia a full set of seasonal and festival outfits in the Slightly Cuter Aesthetics (SCA) style, replacing the default RGB look. Includes 12 customizable hairstyles, hatless outfit variants, and new earrings compatible with or without RRRR.

sothis' Vanilla Friendly Goblin & Witch Edits
