This is a mod list containing mods that make ranching a viable and fun way to play the game.

Mizu's Turkey

Adds turkeys as barn animals which produce turkey feathers and turkey eggs (for turkey mayonnaise). Contains support for Animal Husbandry.

Mizu's Quail

Author: MizuJakkaru (Nexus)

Adds quails as coop animals which produce quail eggs for quail mayonnaise. Compatible with Animal Husbandry.

Trent's New Animals

Adds animals such as peafowl, armadillos, moles, deer, buffalos and silkworms.

New Mechanics

Animal Husbandry Mod (former ButcherMod)

Author: Digus (Nexus)

Butcher your animals (or magically and harmlessly replace them with tree-grown meat from another dimension). This mod also adds treats for your animals, ways to impregnate them, new cooking recipes, a TV channel, and even a ranching themed event.

Like a Duck to Water

Makes ducks go swimming when they've been fed and petted to gain more friendship.

Chicken Feed - a Poultry Diet Rework

Changes the way that coop animals feed to be more like Harvest Moon by needing a special feed made from corn or mixed seeds if they're kept inside.

Animal Squeeze Through - Ostriches in Coops and more

Adds a subscription service to Marnie's, which automatically delivers animal feeds when your silos are empty, with a markup to keep it balanced. Contains support for Chicken Feed.

Better Truffles

Pigs are now able to dig for truffles in tall grass, and there are now indicators to make finding them easier.
