Recommendations by Quill

These are my personal favourite, can't live without 'em mods. Expansion mods aren't included since I don't really use them, but this list includes items, quality of life, building, and cosmetic mods galore! This list is currently incomplete and will be updated soon.

Building

Some of these mods require Solid Foundations to work, the rest are exclusively dependent on Content Patcher.

1. Delotti's Farmhouse: This gorgeous farmhouse interior layout adds a bathroom and a little indoor garden to the farmhouse, and rearranges the room layout a bit. You do not need a Naver account to download the mod.
2. Haneulbaragi's Farm Buildings An elegant farm building retexture with four different colourways - blue, pink, green and purple.
3. Slimmed Down Slime Hutches: Does what it says on the tin. This mod reduces the vertical footprint of the slime hutch to make it use slightly less space on your farm while leaving it compatible with retextures.
4. StarAmy's Ginger Island Farmhouse: Retextures the Ginger Island Farmhouse in a style reminiscent of a tropical resort.
5. Delotti's Winery: A custom winery building using the Solid Foundations framework! Comes in a seasonal and non-seasonal version, and is compatible with farm building retextures by copying slime hutch retexture pngs into the right folder.
6. Wildflour's Witchy Greenhouse: This lovely mod redoes the inside of the greenhouse to include different crop and tree layouts, with a Mush Room ideal for mushroom or indoor crop mods.
7. Wildflour's Witchy Sheds: Witchy Sheds adds two magical buildings for Solid Foundations - An arboretum and a gardening shed! They're bigger on the inside.

Aesthetic

1. Better Artisan Good Icons: An absolute essential in any playthrough, this mod changes the appearance of jam, wine, pickles, and juice to reflect the fruit or veggie you used to make them! This mod is a framework, and is best used with any of the many content packs for it available on Nexus.
2. Literally any of Elle/junimods' mods, they're all so cute!
3. Gweniaczek's Paths and Fences for a medieval touch.
4. Vintage Interface, either version 1 and 2, both are lovely.
5. Better Artisan Goods retextures the fruit tree fruit, animal products, and the other artisan goods in the game to have a more realistic appearance. This mod is best paired with the rest of cometkins' suite of retextures.
6. Skell's Flowery Weapons and Tools will retexture your tools and all the weapons in the game to have a cuter, floral appearance.
7. The Diverse Stardew Valley Suite gives every NPC in the game a facelift, with racial and ethnic diversity in mind, along with seasonal outfits. If you don't want the race changes, vanilla style portraits and seasonal outfits are also available.
8. Visible Fish does exactly what it says on the tin. You can see the fish swimming about in the water with this.
