What Are Commissions?

Sometimes, when making a mod, you realize that you sure can code, but art is one step too far. Or maybe art and writing is your jam, but you struggle with the code. One option in these circumstances is commissioning someone else to do these things.

Etiquette

Generally, people who do commissions will have a website they organize them through. Sometimes, they just discuss in DMs on Discord. Often people will have a queue, and may or may not close their commissions (comms) while they work through the queue.

Who Does Commissions?

This list is not comprehensive. If you do commissions, feel free to add yourself here with details about what you offer and a link to your commission site. The list is in alphabetical order by name, separated by type of commission. If you offer multiple types of art commissions (eg. portraits and item sprites), put your name only under your main commission type for ease of sorting.

Art

Characters & Animals

I also draw 16x16 item sprites, buildings sprites and retextures. I can also write CP code for you (adding new items, machines, recipes, dialogues, creating events, ect..) Content Patcher Code

  • Asterisk555 (Discord aster.risk.555): A bit of an all rounder, I do any kind of art but also maps and mod creation. I've made art for a lot of Mods on Nexus. Pixel art portraits are usually the most popular commission, and I've done some animated ones too. For examples you can see my Kofi gallery. I've also done some mapping in tiled, and helped people create mods that don't require C# coding (e.g. Content Patcher, dialogue, or other framework mods).
  • Aviroen: A little bit of everything in Content Patcher! My Github for examples, and my Nexus Profile for what I've already published. NPCs are my current forte, but I'm open to learning more frameworks. (DM on discord: @aviroen or a message on Nexus)

I specialize in maps, mostly farm maps but I have also created interior maps for PIF and can create interior maps for farmhouses, cellars, greenhouses, custom locations, and many more.
